Eccles Rugby Football Club is a non-profit organisation, run by volunteers for its community and generously supported by local business. We believe in rugby for all, regardless of gender or ability and we value Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship in everything we do, both on and off the pitch.
Our thriving club currently fields over 300 registered, active players across our Mens, Ladies, Colts, Girls, Juniors and Minis teams – and consequently our facilities and clubhouse are a hive of activity every weekend and evening during the week. But a Rugby Club does not run itself. We can only achieve what we do through the support of our enthusiastic volunteers who give their time and skills to making the player and spectator experience at Eccles RFC the best it can be.
The club recognises and appreciates this effort and wishes to reduce the burden of those who already donate so much by swelling the numbers of our small army of volunteers. Eccles RFC has lots of different volunteer roles – some require training or qualifications but the club can offer guidance on this – and we encourage anyone who’d like to step up and get involved to do so.
The volunteer roles we have an urgent need to recruit will be posted on social media over the next few days:
- Social Media Team members
- House & Social Committee members
- Mini & Junior Committee members
- Mini & Junior Referees
Your club can be better with your support and participation. If you would like to volunteer your time and skills for the benefit of the club and its members please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
